The legal framework for competition in the field of smart air transport

Abstract

The air transport sector has witnessed significant developments that have contributed to enhancing the efficiency and improving air services. This type of transport has transitioned from traditional, limited-capacity methods to a sophisticated system based on artificial intelligence and technological advancements. This has led to the emergence of what is known as smart air transport, which relies on technology and autonomous driving to provide more advanced and efficient transport services. Smart air transport is a system that relies on modern, advanced technologies to manage the operation of aircraft, airports, and air services. As a result, this type of transport has contributed to increased competition among airlines in the areas of cargo, organization, cost and time reduction, as well as competition in technological and technical aspects. Therefore, we expect this type of transport to witness future expansion and development, which necessitates updating the legal frameworks regulating competition within it. Hence, the need for research on this topic
